July 2016 - March 2017
Trades of work performed included site development, grading, concrete, structural steel, masonry, stonework, fountain and pool installation, canopy construction, landscaping, hardscape installation, low-voltage systems, audio systems, and general civil and MEP coordination.
The Greater Atlanta Christian School Cross Tower & Pavilion project consisted of the construction of a new monument and pavilion structure on approximately 0.5 acres within the active Greater Atlanta Christian School campus. The project was designed to create a meaningful gathering and reflection space that enhances the functionality and visual character of the campus environment.
Scope included full site development activities, construction of the pavilion and monument structures, installation of a pool and fountain feature, and associated landscape and hardscape improvements throughout the site. The structure incorporated structural steel framing, detailed masonry, architectural stonework, and a large canopy system designed to support school gatherings, events, and outdoor activities. The pavilion also included integrated low-voltage and audio systems to support campus programming and event functionality.
Because the project was performed within an active K–12 campus environment, extensive coordination and safety planning were required throughout construction. FS 360 carefully managed site logistics, access, and construction sequencing to maintain a safe environment for students, faculty, and visitors while minimizing disruptions to daily school operations. The completed project delivered a visually impactful and highly functional campus feature that supports both community engagement and school activities.
