Trades of work performed included selective demolition, theatrical lighting systems, audio/visual and sound system upgrades, stage curtain installation, electrical upgrades, low-voltage systems, finishes, and general MEP coordination across multiple occupied school campuses.
The Atlanta Public Schools Theater Renovation Project enhanced the performance spaces of five high school theaters across the district, with renovations occurring concurrently across active campuses. Scope included upgraded theatrical lighting systems, sound equipment, stage curtains, finishes, and supporting electrical and low-voltage improvements designed to improve functionality, performance quality, and the overall student and audience experience.
Because all work was performed within occupied school environments, careful planning and coordination were critical to minimizing disruption to daily operations, rehearsals, and school events. FS 360 collaborated closely with school administrators to develop phased schedules aligned with academic calendars and campus activities while maintaining strict safety protocols throughout construction. Through proactive communication, detailed logistics planning, and coordinated execution, each renovation was completed efficiently while preserving safe and functional learning environments.
