November 2018 - June 2019
Trades of work performed included selective demolition, flooring installation, wall finishes, millwork, column cladding, office renovations, lighting and electrical upgrades, low-voltage systems, painting, and general MEP coordination within an active airport environment.
The Concessions International LLC HJAIA Concourse B Food Court Renovation project consisted of the renovation of a 7,468 SF food court within the active Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport Concourse B environment. The project focused on modernizing the shared dining and concession areas while maintaining continuous airport operations, passenger circulation, and concessionaire functionality throughout construction.
Scope included demolition of existing finish floor surfaces, column cladding, millwork, wall coverings, lighting systems, and portions of existing office spaces. Renovation work included installation of new flooring, wall finishes, millwork, lighting, and associated office renovations throughout the food court environment. The project also included new electrical services, low-voltage infrastructure, and supporting MEP modifications required to support the upgraded concession and public dining spaces.
Because the project was performed within an active airport concourse, extensive coordination and phased execution were required to minimize disruptions to passengers, airport operations, and concessionaire activities. FS 360 coordinated closely with multiple concessionaires, airport stakeholders, and facility operations teams to maintain safe public access, manage construction logistics, and preserve customer experience throughout the duration of the renovation.
