Scope of work:

Trades of work performed included selective demolition, drywall installation, tile work, flooring installation, painting, glass systems, millwork, lighting and electrical upgrades, plumbing modifications, HVAC work, fire protection systems, low-voltage systems, ceilings, and general MEP coordination within an active airport environment.

Description:

The Delta Air Lines Sky Club project at Dallas-Fort Worth International Airport consisted of the phased renovation of an existing 10,800 SF airport lounge environment designed to modernize and enhance the overall passenger experience. The project included comprehensive upgrades throughout the club while maintaining coordination within the active airport environment.

Scope included complete restroom renovations, installation of new food and beverage bars, construction of a new entrance, and addition of a modern cyber bar area. The renovation also included replacement of all carpeting, wall coverings, ceilings, and interior finishes throughout the lounge to create an updated and refreshed environment for travelers.

The project was executed in multiple phases with extensive coordination and planning to maintain operational continuity throughout construction. Work included demolition, drywall installation, tile work, flooring, painting, glass systems, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, millwork, fire protection, and low-voltage system upgrades necessary to support the renovated Sky Club environment.
