Design-Bid-Build
FS 360 performed a 2,140 SF interior renovation to transform an existing space into functional office areas for the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund. Scope included selective demolition and construction of new offices, open workspaces, a conference room, breakroom, and restroom upgrades, along with updated finishes, millwork, and fixtures. MEP systems were modified to support the new layout, including lighting, power, plumbing, and HVAC adjustments. All work was executed within the constraints of existing cast-in-place (CIP) concrete walls, requiring precise coordination.
FS 360 completed a 2,140 SF office renovation for the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund, delivering a refreshed and functional workspace to support their mission-driven team.
The project included the buildout of new office and work areas, along with a breakroom, restroom, and conference room designed to enhance collaboration and day-to-day operations. The renovated space balances functionality with comfort, providing an efficient environment tailored to the organization’s needs.
A key challenge of the project was working within the constraints of the existing structure, which consisted of solid cast-in-place (CIP) concrete walls originally designed for animal enclosures. These conditions required careful planning and precise execution, as all work had to remain within the fixed dimensions of the structure.
Given the project’s location within Zoo Atlanta, coordination was critical throughout construction. Our team worked closely with stakeholders to ensure minimal disruption to ongoing operations while maintaining a safe and controlled work environment.
Through proactive coordination and disciplined execution, FS 360 successfully delivered a high-quality renovation that supports the Gorilla Fund’s continued work in conservation, research, and education.
