October 2012 - January 2013
The project was a 4,000 square foot renovation project, to include a complete renovation of the front and back of house systems. All the existing fixtures, millworks, flooring and ceilings were removed. FS360 was responsible for the complete build back of this Food & Beverage concession location, in addition to managing the Department of Aviation’s security, safety and work requirements.
The Global Concessions Coffee Beanery & Purple Leaf Concessions project consisted of the complete demolition and renovation of an existing 4,000 SF airport restaurant space and construction of a new food and beverage concession concept within an active airport environment. The project included a full interior build-out designed to support new concession operations while meeting airport operational and safety requirements.
Scope included demolition of the existing restaurant infrastructure, installation of new architectural finishes, millwork, flooring systems, and supporting food service build-out components. Significant mechanical and electrical upgrades were performed to support the new concession equipment, operational requirements, and updated utility demands. The project also included installation of a waterproof flooring membrane and coordination of supporting plumbing, utility, and food service infrastructure throughout the space.
Because the project was performed within an active airport facility, extensive coordination with the Department of Aviation and airport operations personnel was required throughout construction. FS 360 carefully managed logistics, sequencing, and protection measures to ensure sensitive airport equipment located on the ramp level remained fully protected and operational throughout the duration of the project.
