The Zoo Atlanta Entry Plaza Revitalization project consisted of the renovation and enhancement of an 18,000 SF public entry plaza designed to improve guest arrival experience, circulation, and overall site functionality within the active Zoo Atlanta campus. The project transformed a heavily utilized public space through the integration of new hardscape features, landscape improvements, upgraded utility infrastructure, and stormwater system modifications.

Scope included demolition and replacement of existing site elements, installation of new paving and hardscape components, landscaping enhancements, utility upgrades, and associated civil improvements required to support the revitalized plaza environment. The work required careful coordination within an active public venue with high daily visitor traffic and ongoing zoo operations.

Construction activities were performed in accordance with Zoo Atlanta’s operational and safety protocols, requiring controlled access, phased execution, and detailed logistics planning to minimize disruptions to guests, staff, and daily operations. FS 360 worked closely with Zoo Operations to coordinate construction sequencing, maintain safe public access routes, and manage noise, visibility, and site safety throughout the duration of the project.
